get rid of the live action nonsense.

the Cartoon Network logo belongs to Cartoon Network, owned by Time Warner.

oh, I heard about that bs.
apparently they ripped off discovery channel only it less than worked.
:iconmeteored:
well according to that journal, it bombed so badly that cartoon network begged for the ratings not to be released so people wouldn't see how lulzy they were.
but yeah, all the shows are ripoffs.

othersiders - ghost hunters
brainrush - cash cab
destroy build destroy - don't know any specific titles, but you can see similarities with other shows
survive this - well, duh, survivor shows (i feel sorry for les stroud, i love his show)

also there were some more CN Real shows but I forget what they were. o.o OHWELL.

I'm just upset about it because I just started to really love CN again, and they bring this junk into the picture.

a smart person may not necessarily have all the answers, but he knows how to get them.
:iconkhelvors:
and they want to cancel Flapjack? D:

of course TDI was stupid.
and 6teen.

I blame my sister who likes those stupid shows.
:iconmeteored:
apparently. but some people asked *thurop and he said it was safe. at least for now, i suppose..
but chowder? it's not my favorite show, but it is really popular, and it facing possible cancellation is just.. weird. :|

never liked TDI or 6teen.
the stories are lame and the characters are annoying, and the flat lazy like animation sucks.
but for some reason people like it..

well, cartoon network better shape up. :/
I just think, if you have a show with a fanbase and some animator or creator or whatever who can make it work, why the hell cancel it?
for some trash "real" stuff.

why would children want to watch some lame thing about teenagers who hang out in a mall. and OMG JIMMY JUST GOT A BOYFRIEND. ... well, sally maybe.
.... you get the point on that.

people need better taste.
:iconmeteored:
if you read the comments on that journal, there were some pretty good points people made. like how CN seems to want a piece of the live action pie that Nick and Disney have, but it's stupid since you should stick with what you're good at and BE damn good at it. ripping off other ideas is never good. stick with what you represent (CARTOONS) and try your best at the quality aspect of it all.

someone said something along the lines of this being like if Pepsi wanted a piece of the meat market, and created PepsiMeat. it's not sticking with your name and it makes no sense.

but i agree, the situations in 6teen and TDI and all that are so brain numbing, it's all about hook-ups and, uhm, wait, that's it.

kids can get that from MTV or whatever.
(another example of fail: MUSIC television that doesn't show music anymore)

yeah what the hell did Nick do? iCarly wtf.
see, when the two leads start saying "go to iCarly.com!" in increasingly mannish voices, that's not comedy.

I think if CN wants a "real" thing, shouldn't they just buy another channel and put it there? i mean, obviously, if it's so /profitable/.

also, why push on with it, when you are even covering your ratings for the week?

I don't really watch tv anymore. D:
:iconmeteored:
I kind of like iCarly. The stuff they do on the WEB SHOW is annoying and not funny, but the rest of the show is interesting. o.o I think Jerry Trainor is hilarious.

But anyway..
idk.. apparently CN recently got a new president? i think i remember reading that somewhere.

they're convinced that they can force us to adapt to it. not like it, but tolerate it.

they should've made one live show, seen how people reacted, THEN, if it was positive, made more.

but they did do that lame out of jimmy's head thing, and that failed, but even that wasn't enough for them to see that no one was interested..

i don't watch much.. just discovery channel and some of CN lately, but if it really does get any worse i'll just switch to watching movies as background noise for me. xD

Jerry Trainor is funnee. c:
sometimes random screaming is not funny, though.

ew. ew. ew.
Out of jimmy's head?
oh yeah, the one wiht the crocs and bear or smth?

haha.
ohsnap I forgot to watch Yes Man which I rented today.
hm. tomorrow.

About the only things I watch now are discovery channel, The Colbert Report, and maybe maybe (I like it but don't really watch it) CNN.
:iconmeteored:
true, true

i think so? i never watched it and i think it only had like, what, four episodes because it failed so hard? lol.
all i remember is commercials saying he "had the mind of the world's greatest cartoonist" when actually the cartoons he imagined looked like shit.

xD

hmm, i prefer the daily show. ._.
